Emerging athlete preparing for major competition

This young athlete boasts substantial online audience

The young golfer will have plenty of prominent backers when she makes her LPGA debut later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, received a tournament invitation to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, operates several golf courses and regularly competes against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she revealed.

Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."

"He essentially advised me to compete and relax," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, so he's quite busy."

As an amateur, Kai has competed in only three events this year and has the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

Yet she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's an even better person. He advised me to play, relax, adapting to whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in the sport at the Annika, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that her participation exposes golf to different demographics, specifically with youth audiences.

The social media influencer boasts substantial online presence and recently launched her own apparel and wellness company.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
